Asuka's Last Battle
A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Linux
Story
This is a game based on the movie "The End of Evangelion" episode 25: "Air" / "Love Is Destructive", where Asuka, the pilot of EVA Unit 02 fought against Seele's mass-produced Evangelions.
In this game, you will play Asuka and try to defeat all mass-produced EVA units. Ammo is scarce; every bullet counts.
There are two levels in the game: "Harbor" and "School". The level "School" was inspired by a scene in the movie "Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time", where EVA Unit 1 and EVA Unit 13 fought in a series of difference places. This level is significantly harder than "Harbor", especially if you try to fight in the classrooms and corridors all the time.
Fight valiantly like Asuka would do, and stay alive!
Platforms & Hardware Requirements
The game is supported on Windows, Mac and Linux. There is no significant performance difference across platforms, but Ray Tracing is supported on Windows only.
There is no specific minimum hardware requirements, as the game is found to run smoothly even with integrated graphics card (under "very low" graphics quality and 1080p resolution, in level "Harbor"). It should be noted that the level "School" is significantly more hardware-demanding than "Harbor".
FAQs
Q: How do I access the in-game menu? How do I change difficulty and graphics settings? How do I know the controls of the game?
A: Once in game, press "Esc" to show or hide the game menu. In the menu, you can change difficulty level or graphics quality. The menu also displays the controls, i.e., which key does what.
